The Oceans of Life Ministries Inc. Story

This is the story of oceans, of life in the streets. A vision, birth and prayer confirmed by God and carried forward by faithful readers, joined and empowered by the Holy Spirit. In the year 2000. On the 35th day of a 40 day fast, the Reverend Fred Adams asked the Lord what he wanted him to do in the next season of ministry.

He. Only ten minutes later, another came at the door, a divine interruption that would change the future of urban ministry in the Philippines. Say you belong. You will hear the sweep. Three pairs of couples in Davao City fervently pray seeking divine guidance to start an urban church. Reverends volunteer in retire in Canada. Mr. Eduardo and Doctor Narissa Tan, along with Reverend Fred and Reverend Bob Adams, felt God's call inspiring a new vision focused on winning souls and making disciples.

Starting in October 2000, they hosted by Monthly Family Matters seminars at the Cap auditorium. Here we walk down the aisle by January 2001. They transition to weekly Sunday afternoon gatherings at the new Grand Mansingh Hotel, and in March of the same year, they officially named themselves living Faith and began meeting on Sunday mornings at Faith Academy in Milford Heights, Davao City.

In November 2001, they officially formed a society with SEC papers declaring their group as Oceans of Life Ministries, incorporating. After ten years old, in Faith had to move out from Faith Academy. So for some Sundays the group held worship services at FBC tower and have Christian dance studios finally moving into a 700 square meter space in December 2011.

 When we pray. This is the place where we cry. This is the place where we start. Till death do us part. Where we say goodbye. Here we leave oceans of life ministries. Where no one stands alone. Get a Nissan. Pray here we walk down the aisle. Dedicate every child here in this sacred place. Holy, holy, holy, holy. You God almighty.

From the very beginning, the leaders of this new church plan had the gateway cities in my. And the church was to be a movement of small groups. Why small groups? Historians are in agreement that the secret of the Methodist movement was its small groups. The Wesley's great, in a system where sincere seekers could receive guidance and instructions. Being a methodist meant being part of a small group that watched over one another and love to help each other grow in holiness of heart and life, and propelling oceans of life ministries to the future.

Our learned early on emphasizes a back to Wesley by looking at the past, by seeking to recapture the original spirit and intentions of the founders of our free Methodist denomination through a maturing use of a proven system and small group movement. The Back to Wesley movement is all about small groups or small groups, as others may call it.

The small groups in which 6 to 12 people regularly gather to talk about their spiritual journeys. Study the Bible and pray have become an integral and dynamic part of online church life. The mission of all of them is to love God, love people, and make disciples. The vision of all of them states all of them is a movement of multiplying small group leaders, empowered by the Holy Spirit in order to transform the world's cities for Jesus Christ.

Today, William is found in Ifugao, Quirino, Mindoro, Laguna, Albay, Sorsogon, and Metro Manila and Luzon down to the provinces of Surigao, Agusan, Bombo, Davao and Sultan. Further, our strategy is realize it is an acronym which means fully restored, equipped and empowered living in friendship that evangelize. This is a process designed to have a new believer go through the various stages, from being an unbeliever to becoming a born again believer and a fully devoted to Jesus disciple making of other disciples who will also become disciple makers.

Basically, our activities every year revolved around these four rungs of the ladder. Winning people grounded in the foundations of faith, coupled with life transforming encounters. The third round ushers them into their discipleship journey where they are enrolled in Destiny class levels one and two, after which they are empowered to launch their own life.
